Crawler Excavator

 It shall be ensured that the track is installed at the correct side. The protruding end of the base plate must be aligned to the chain wheel direction of head end in the lower track section. Connect the track end to the track end bolts.

• Hammer the end bolts with sledge hammer, drive pin and conduit during installation without press.

• Use a reverse fixing seat when hammering the end bolts in order to prevent damage to guide wheel and drive wheel bearing.

Check the track roller and support roller:

The track roller and support roller are servicing-free.

• Visually check the appearance of the sealing part of slip ring for leakage every day, especially after

 long-time continuous use.

• Check the torque of fastening bolts with torque wrench after 100 operating hours. Required MA = 250-310 Nm.

• Visually check the appearance of bolts generally to prevent bolt looseness in general servicing process.

he elastic tension cylinder is used to place the track of traveling mechanism to its operating position. The advance is achieved through filling grease (pressing with manual lever).

• If the sag of both sides of track bracket is 10-15mm or so, it shows the track tension is appropriate. However, it must note that the tension cylinder is only used to push the guide wheel to advance and tension the track other than compress the travel of spring device.

If the track of the traveling mechanism shall be removed, first loosen the fuel feeding valve, and carefully release the pressure of tension cylinder. At the moment, pressure grease will spill out from the fuel feeding valve through groove
