Scraper chain: Servicing & maintenance:
High-strength underground operation easily causes the agglomeration between the scraper chains since dust in air may block chain links to become hard. Therefore, when the scraper chain enters the chain wheel, its action is not smooth. If the chain links become hard, it will result in cracks of bolts, casing or base plate, or stagnation of scraper chain.
Severe agglomeration may result in connection corrosion.
If the scraper chain is left unused for a long time, connection corrosion will occur. In this case, the chain links will become hard, and cracks reoccur.
